Christmas | Countdown - 5 Weekends to go...

I'm a bit late this weekend with this one.  The pressure of working all week and only having weekends to get organised is starting to take hold.  Are you with me or is it just me who is feeling it?
Anyway, for this week's tasks I have been checking my decorations and have completed the obligatory visit to my local garden centre, Bents.  Bents is A-MA-ZING.  I have to go every year to check out the latest trends in the tree decorating world and I am never disappointed.  For the first time this year, they have allowed customers to photograph their displays, so I obviously took full advantage of this.
Bents is huge.  There are at least 15 themed trees on display and the option to buy the items shown on the trees.  It is a tad expensive for some things, but I always buy a couple of key things each year to add to my collection.  This year, I bought a cute little bag which holds letters to Santa.  Perfect for using when we walk to the post box to post our letters in a week or two and also for storing those ever important replies we will hopefully receive.
To top the visit off, they have a fab café with massive cream scones (massive prices too) but we always share one of these to end our visit.
There is also a massive selection of beautifully displayed Yankee Candles.  I think they stock the entire Christmas range.  I picked up a selection of the tarts and am burning Frosted Snow tonight, as I write this. It's a strong, perfumed scent, but I love it!

Take a look at some of the gorgeous trees on display.
Will you be copying any of them?
Add your Christmas themed post to my linky at the end of the images.

  2. I love going to a garden centre near us before Christmas, and letting the children choose a new decoration for the tree- the displays are so lovely and our trip always guarantees to put me in a festive mood! PS LOVE Yankee Candles, you've reminded me that I need to get a new one for this year! #ordinarymoments

    1. That sounds like a lovely idea. I'll have to go back now so the children can choose a decoration. That's what I'll tell the hubby anyway. Thanks for having a read.

  3. Oh you'll see from my linked post that we were at our local garden centre on Saturday too! I don't think it's quite as huge or swanky as your one but they do pull out all the stops at Christmas (and yes, it's just as pricey!) X #ordinarymoments
