Twins | Dear Harry and Matthew...21 Months Old.

Well babies, yesterday you were 21 months old, but Mummy is late with posting this as I was busy taking part in the Photography Challenge and My Sunday Photo.
As you can see, Harry, you have a lovely bump to your head there and Matthew has one in exactly the same place.  I wonder why?
You are sitting on the motorised train that Santa brought for Christmas.  Harry the trailer isn't supposed to be for another baby, but you two wouldn't have it any other way!
What a team you make trying to make it work in the top pictures.  Iggle Piggle has made an appearance on your pictures.  I think he even had a ride in the trailer at one point, before Harry hawked him out!
Matthew, your latest trick is completely opening the lounge window and trying to make a run for it. We can't find the keys for the locks, so Daddy has had to lock them using a wire coat hanger - you little monkey!
The lounge is still looking pretty bare.  You are still messing with anything and everything you can get your hands on. We still can't put anything on the television stand shelving.  Matthew, you are the climber and Harry likes to tell you off about it!
Your dancing has improved since last time I wrote.  You now drop to the floor at the same time as the Tombliboos in the Night Garden and spin round and round to Upsy-Daisy's song. You like to watch most things on Cbeebies.
I think you are starting to calm down a little, at the moment, but I don't want to speak too soon.  Your Grandmas' agree that you like to play and squabble together, more than you used to.
Bedtime is still at 7:00p.m and Mummy and Daddy are eternally grateful that you sleep through the night, even giving us a couple of lie-ins over Christmas.  Harry, you too, now sleep in a fleece onesie as you can now get out of your sleeping bag as well, like Matthew. You also, still enjoy milk in the morning and evening.
You are quite good at understanding orders, such as close the door, get Mummy your bottle and put your toys in the box.  You like copying  - Matthew, you enjoy sweeping the kitchen floor.
When it comes to speaking, you are both saying or trying to say lots of things.  Harry, you love to shout 'hiya!' over and over again. You also like to shout jooooce when you are in your highchair and want a drink.  Matthew, you like to shout Daddy's first name over and over again - mimicking me when I shout him!
Lauren enjoys trying to read stories to you at bedtime, and won't let you go to bed without a kiss.
We love you both very much and remain very lucky to have you in our lives.
Love Mummy, Daddy and Lauren x

  1. Aww they're so cute! Climbing out of the lounge window sounds a bit terrifying though?! My youngest (2 in April) has discovered how to get out of the front door, I only found this out when the older children came running in to tell me she'd gone off down the drive!! AAGGHH!!! x

    1. Thanks for reading. I'm with you on the opening the front door one too! They were wondering around on the front lawn. Only been gone 2 seconds, but I screamed the place down when I saw the door open! They've not had a chance to do it again!

    2. * sorry wandering not wondering. Long day!

  2. Ahhh they are the cutest little boys ever! Look at those smiles and coming on perfectly. They look so happy which is a true compliment to their mother for being so great. lol We have MM who just discovered how to open the front door and it makes me so very nervous because she is a runner and no fear. I have to watch her more closely then I ever did my son. lol Adorable post. Love updates. Thanks for linking up to Share With Me #sharewithme

  3. Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments. Aw bless her, they certainly keep us on our toes don't they.

  4. Aww, this takes me back to when my twins were this age. They were always helping each other get into mischief!
I love the coat hanger solution to your window escapee! Needs must :D
