Welcome back to my 'Plan With Me' series for August using Simple Stories - Sunshine and Happiness products. As it's still (supposed to be) summer, I'm continuing with the Sunshine and Happiness kit, but further on in this post, I'll give you the details of my plans for autumn from September onwards. I continue to get my planner stickers and papers from Hey Little Magpie on-line store. The service is brilliant and I've always received my goods the next day, unless that would be a Sunday.
I've really loved the kit for this month's layout because of the cute little flip flops and the general holiday theme. The bright colours suit my planner too.
My planner continues to be a truly useful tool for keeping me organised day in, day out. I've got a blog section in there now, where I am starting to use an editorial calendar and I have blog to-do lists in there too. I also have a menu section for storing past menus and planning the week ahead and some blank shopping lists, which I fill in as the week goes on and I remember what I need. If' you're feeling intrigued by it all, just do it, get organised.
To create this month's layout, above, I used the Simple Stories Sunshine and Happiness 4 x 6 inch stickers for my page. They cost £4.99 from Hey Little Magpie.
I also used the paper with the flowers on which is £0.89 a sheet from Hey Little Magpie
I used the paper to decorate the inside edges and placed the stickers over the rest and this is how it all turned out this month.
Close ups, below.
I did manage to post a couple of weekly layouts for July, here in Instagram.
If you would like to see my weekly layouts, as the month of August progresses, I will be posting these on Instagram here.
You can also check out some Sunshine and Happiness dividers I made on my Instagram page too. Here.
And I also have a Sunshine and Happiness board that you can follow on Pinterest here.
Looking ahead to September.
If you would like to get involved with 'Plan with me' in September, I have a couple of things to share with you, which will help you to get ahead of the game a little.
I don't buy expensive planners, even though I do love the Carpe Diem ones. My current one is from Paper Chase, but isn't available anymore, but fear not, for Autumn, I'm getting a new one to match the colours in the new kit I've got my eyes on. It's not available to buy in the UK until mid to late August, but as soon as Hey Little Magpie have it in stock, I'll be ordering it.
So the links for September's 'Plan with Me' are here.
Navy blue A5 planner Ebay here - Cost £8.51 including postage.
I've chosen Navy blue, because it will go so well with the Simple Stories Hello Fall kit I will be buying.
This is a picture from the Simple Stories website of what the kit looks like.
It's gorgeous and seeing as autumn is my favourite month, I can't wait to start using it. Are you with me?
