Review | Lolly's Sweet Treats

Apart from my husband, we all have a sweet tooth in our house, so you can imagine my delight when we were given the chance to review sweets from Lolly's Sweet Treats.  We received 5 gorgeously packed cones tied with string for a rustic look.

Lolly's Sweet Treats specialise in retro, old fashioned sweets - my favourite type - the type that take you right back to your childhood.  The range is immense.  There's fizzy, fruity, chewy, chocolate, sour.  While browsing I spotted those Anglo Bubbly Bubblegum, the type where if you put two in your mouth, your jaw aches, but you can blow the biggest bubbles ever! I also spotted beer bottles, not cola bottles, oh no, beer bottles! Do you remember them?

Lolly's Sweet Treats is a family inspired business run by Harry O'Reilly, who got his inspiration for the business venture from his cousin's daughter, Lola - Dolly a.k.a. Lolly.  Lolly is a little girl who went through a spell of eating only chocolate - I've been there. Trust me. The company is London based and proudly supported by The Prince's Trust.

Lolly's Sweet Treats

The sweets arrived in a well packaged box and it's a real treat to open up a parcel containing yummy sweets, especially when each cone was packed full of goodies.  Some of my favourites from the cones were the shrimps and the pear drops.  Each cone contained a different variety as the picture shows.  They would be ideal if you are planning a party and you want to take the hard work out of favours or gifts for your guests.

If you are interested in finding out more about Lolly's Sweet Treats and the full range of sweets you can do so here.

Are you a sweet lover?  Which ones take you back to your childhood?

  2. I am a big sweet lover, I choose sweets over chocolate any day! I love the traditional little sweets as I always call them and seek them out any shops that sell them. My favourites are the foam mushrooms and the bananas. x #triedtested
