How will you use your extra hour on the 30th of October? (Giveaway)

Elizabeth Shaw Giveaway

The clocks go back, in the UK, on the 30th of October and I have teamed up with Elizabeth Shaw, the chocolatiers, to think about ways that we could use this extra hour to consider others or to make a thoughtful gesture.

Autumn is my favourite time of year, and I can think of many ways that I could use the extra hour for fun with my family.  We could bake a cake, go to the park, head off to the country park near us, for an Autumn walk.  It would be lovely to actually mark the extra hour on the calendar at some point that day and make a determined effort to enjoy a family activity - make a special effort to do so.

Of course, you could also use the extra hour just for you.  A time to unwind and relax could be just the tonic you need to make you feel more refreshed and we all know that this makes us better all round.  If we feel tired and grumpy, we often find it difficult to be kind and thoughtful to others.

The people at Elizabeth Shaw chocolates would like us all to think of ways that we could be more considerate of others or more thoughtful, in general.  They are asking that we try to use the extra hour to make somebody's day, especially as this time of year can be quite gloomy for some with the arrival of the darker evenings and dark mornings too.  It can also be a lonely time too.

Chocolates always brighten a day up and I have a chance for you to win a gorgeous Elizabeth Shaw hamper as pictured below.
