Pumpkin Picking Pics! 2016Sunday, 23 October 2016
We've been Pumpkin picking today and it was really good. It's something I've wanted to do for ages, but the time hasn't been right. We went to Poplar Farm near Ormskirk in the North West of England. I had a good scour of the internet and decided to visit this place over the place that most people tend to opt for, where we live, and I'm so glad I did.
The choice was really good and at 3 pumpkins for £10.00 regardless of the size, or £4.00 each, we definitely got excellent value for money. The Pumpkins were huge and would have cost about £15.00 each at the places where you pay per weight.
The weather was perfect - a bit of a wintery breeze, but quite sunny too, which meant that we spent quite a long time picking our 3 pumpkins out. The best bit for me was the freedom that we could give Harry and Matthew, without having to stress out about it. They were so excited and kept asking if we were at the 'pumpkin farm' on the way there. They behaved so well, and really enjoyed it.
The rest of this post is dedicated to the photos we took while we were there. They can tell the story better than me.
Have you been Pumpkin picking yet?
